Basic Rules On Our Linux Computers

• The Linux server are open for all members of the ARI staff.
• Everyone has the same rights and duties.
• Our Administrators have all rights and more duties.
• Everyone should behave with integrity and show solidarity.
• Please do not overload our computers and mass storage.
• You are not alone. Everyone is in a hurry, everything is very important and distinguished.

You colleagues will thank you for acting on the advice.

The admins installled some automatism for steering priorities, restricting cpu usage, and limiting the use of mass storage, forcing the rules to be respected. This is no malice. Instead the admins hope keeping the resources usable to everyones benefit.
